The Saudi Ministry of Commerce and Investment has referred 754 commercial concealment cases to the Public Prosecution for the period from January to May 2019, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.

 

The ministry has referred 151 cover-up cases in May to the Public Prosecution bringing the total number to 603 cases. 

 

In February, King Salman approved the National Program for Combating the Commercial Concealment in the aim of eliminating commercial cover-up, which leads to the increase of unemployment rate and spread of commercial fraud.
