The total cargo tonnage handled in Saudi ports in H1 2019 was 133 million tons, an increase of 4.3 percent compared to the same period last year, Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) said in a report.

 

The number of handling containers reached 3.4 million, an increase of 9.2 percent from the same period last year, the report said.

 

The number of vessels in Saudi ports during H1 2019 was 6,102, including 754,000 passengers, 319,000 vehicles and 3 million livestock heads, it further added.
