The General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) said compliance rate with tax returns reached 95 percent, attributing the reason to a successful cooperation with related government entities, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.

 

GAST also reported almost zero tax evasions, driven by a positive collaboration and compliance of the business sector since 2018.

 

Some few cases are currently being considered to define due taxes and penalties.
