Tadawul market cap rises 0.5% in 9M

The total equity market capitalization of Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) rose 0.47 percent year-on-year to SAR 1,908.45 billion ($508.92 billion) in the first nine months of 2019.

The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed at 8,091.76 points, gaining 1.15 percent, or 92.22 points, compared to same period last year. The highest close level was at 9,361.96 points on May 1.

The total value of shares traded reached SAR 647.60 billion ($172.70 billion), slipping 0.80 percent compared to same period last year.

The total number of shares traded fell 16.67 percent to 24.16 billion, compared to 28.99 billion shares. However, the total number of transactions executed increased 12.65 percent to 19.95 million compared to 17.71 million.
