Finance ministry inks deal with Mashroat to enhance facility management

Ministry of Finance signed on Wednesday an agreement with the National Project Management, Operation, and Maintenance Organization in Public Entities (Mashroat) to help improve its asset and facility management.

Under the agreement, Mashroat will provide consultancy services and technical support to the ministry, Arab News reported.

“The deal will help the ministry improve its facility management, and raise service standards provided by operating and maintenance contractors,” assistant minister of finance, Hindi bin Abdullah Al-Suhaimi, said.

He also added that Mashroat will evaluate the ministry’s assets and train employees to keep pace with best international practices, including a computerized system of facility management.
