Al Ahlia for Cooperative Insurance Co. said that the government’s precautionary measures to contain the coronavirus outbreak had a negative impact on gross written premiums (GWPs).

 

The insurer added in a bourse statement that it is presently difficult to assess the financial impact, noting that any updates will be disclosed in due course.
