Saudi Central Bank raises weekly bill issue size to SAR 10 bln

The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) raised the issue size of its weekly SAMA Bill offering from SAR 3 billion to SAR 10 billion, as of today, Dec. 20, 2020.
The move is aimed at enhancing the banks' efficiency in managing liquidity.
In October 2016, SAMA decided to reduce the issue size from SAR 9 billion to SAR 3 billion per week.
