HRSD discloses guidelines for Saudization of accounting jobs

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) unveiled guidelines for implementing the Saudization initiative for accounting jobs.
The ministry will increase the contribution of all national cadres in the labor market, enhance business sectors to introduce new job opportunities and replace the stereotype models, according to the ministry’s Twitter account.
The ministry will also boost the productivity and potential of Saudi employees through training and data registration to help organize the labor market.
Ahmad Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD), issued a decision on Dec. 23, 2020, to Saudize 30% of the accounting jobs, Argaam reported.
The decision, to be effective as of Dhu al-Qi'dah 1, 1442 AH (June 12, 2021), is applicable to all local private entities with at least five accounting professionals.
The move aims to provide more than 9,800 job opportunities.
