Saudi health ministry administers nearly 300,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses

The total number of doses of COVID-19 vaccines given to citizens and residents reached 295,530 thus far, the Ministry of Health spokesman Mohammed Al-Abd Al-Aly said.
The ministry is continuing with the vaccine administration till the required immunity and health safety levels are reached, state-run SPA reported.
Al-Abd Al-Aly noted that the health conditions of those who received the vaccine are good and no unexpected side effects were found.
Saudi Arabia began on Dec. 17, 2020, the vaccination campaign by administering the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.
