Alinma Tokio Marine Co. signed bancassurance agreement with Alinma Bank on Jan. 28, 2021, after the approval from Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) on Jan. 19, 2021, the insurer said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

Board members Abdulmohsen Abdulaziz Al Fares and Ibrahim Sulaiman Al Sayari have interest as they are the representative of Alinma Bank in Alinma Tokio’s board.

 

Board member Mutlaq Hamad Al Morished also has interest as he is board member at Alinma Bank.

 

The company confirmed that no preferential treatment was given on this agreement and it is within usual business activity.
