Opening ceremony

Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan, governor of Northern Borders Region, inaugurated, on Feb. 17, the new Arar airport, along with Minister of Transport Saleh Al-Jasser.

 

The new terminal is valued at SAR 382 million with an annual capacity of 1 million passengers, according to data compiled by Argaam.

 

The airport was designed in a distinct way, with the exterior design forming the shape of an eye and symbolizing the first letter of the city of Arar in Arabic.
