Nazaha holds investigations with 999 detainees in criminal, administrative cases last month

The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) launched investigations last month (Dhul Qidah) with 999 accused individuals in administrative and criminal cases, after conducting 340 oversights visits.

Nazaha arrested 298 citizens and residents, including employees at the Ministries of Defense, Interior, Justice, Municipal, Rural Affairs & Housing, Education, Human Resources and Social Development, Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, Energy, Commerce and Public Prosecution on their involvement in bribery, power abuse and forgery.

Nazaha said in a statement that the required regulatory measures are being completed against the detainees, in preparation for their referral to court.
