Saad Al-Hammad, spokesman for the Ministry of Human Resource and Social Development (HRSD), confirmed that work at profit establishments is not voluntary and employees at such entities should be paid for their work.

 

Article No. 15 of the Voluntary Work Law states that private establishments should not benefit from the efforts of volunteers if such entities generate direct or indirect returns.
