Saudi Arabia records 54 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, lowest since March 2020

Saudi Arabia recorded 54 COVID-19 cases today, Sept. 22, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 546,735, the Ministry of Health stated.
Recoveries reached 61, raising the total number of recovered cases to 535,711 (98% of total COVID-19 cases).
Active cases totaled 2,345, of which 303 cases are critical.
The Kingdom reported seven new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,679.
Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 13, followed by Makkah (11), Eastern Province (7), Madinah and Al Qassim (4 each).
Saudi Arabia concluded 55,050 new tests over the last 24 hours, and the total number of administered doses increased to 41.23 million.
