SAMA directs Salama to appoint independent consultant to assess governance

Salama Cooperative Insurance Co. received on Oct. 3, a letter from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) to appoint an independent consultant to assess its governance, and prepare and evaluate a bundle of internal policies and procedures.
The resolution came following the observations made by SAMA in this regard.
Salama’s board of directors affirmed its commitment to implement the resolution and work to accomplish the tasks as required.
