Monshaat provides over SAR 6 bln financing to 2,000 SMEs in 2021: Official

The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monshaat) provided over SAR 6 billion in financing facilities for 2,000 SMEs this year, Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported, citing Ebtisam Alhumeidan, General Manager – Funding Supervision at Monshaat.

The sukuk issue is subject to the approval of the competent authority, and it will be offered in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations.

The board of directors appointed Alkhair Capital as the advisor for the planned sukuk offer.

The company stated that the announcement does not constitute an invitation or an offer to buy, own or subscribe to any financial securities.

Any material developments will be announced in due course, the statement said.
