Riyadh Metro’s construction work finished, overall completion rate at 92%: RCRC

The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) said that the construction works on Riyadh Metro project is completed, while the project’s overall completion rate is 92%.
The project has successfully supplied and tested more than 180 trains, with train operations reaching advanced stages, during which trains travelled about two million kilometers on all tracks, the commission told Al Arabiya TV.
In April, Prince Faisal bin Ayyaf, Mayor of Riyadh Region, said that the launch of Riyadh Metro project will take place soon, with the completion rate at that time exceeding 90%, Argaam reported.
