Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce issued 5,319 commercial registers for the entertainment sector this year, driven by accelerated investment growth, Al-Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.

 

A total of 683 registers were issued for parks, 1,351 for entertainment centers and 3,285 for event planners, the ministry added, noting that all registers are active.

 

On the other hand, Riyadh came on top with the highest number of commercial registers, followed by Makkah and Eastern Province. The total number of employees in the tourism sector stood at 1.6 million.
