Tadawul maintains trading halt on Saudi Cable as auditor issues disclaimer opinion

The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) announced today, May 17, the continuation of the trading halt on Saudi Cable Co.’s (SCC) shares as the company’s auditor issued a disclaimer opinion for the financial statement ended Dec. 31, 2021.
The step comes in accordance with the listing rules and will continue until SCC announces the removal of the disclaimer of opinion.
On May 9, Tadawul suspended trading on SCC shares as the firm failed to disclose its 2021 financial results during the regulatory period, Argaam reported.
The company disclosed its financial results for 2021 on May 16, which contained the auditor’s disclaimer opinion.
