The MoU signing ceremony 

The Ministry of Investment signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Alstom, a global leader in rail transport and sustainable mobility, the state-run SPA reported.

 

The MoU aims to further explore investment opportunities in the transport sector, localize its industries, and establish Alstom's regional headquarters in the Kingdom.

 

The MoU also aims to explore the Saudi transport sector’s sustainable future and seize investment opportunities in the public transport sector with regard to railways, sustainable mobility technologies and reduction of carbon emissions in line with Vision 2030.
