MEPCO tissue paper rolls project 71% complete: CEO

Middle East Paper Co.’s (MEPCO) raw tissue paper rolls production project is 71% completed, Chief Executive Officer, Sami Safran, told Argaam in a statement.  

 

The project will increase the company’s production capacity of jumbo tissue paper rolls by 60,000 tons per annum (tpa). 

 

The project will be 65% financed from the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF), 25% issued capital and 19% as loans from commercial banks.  

 

The project will expectedly launch operations by H1 2023, Safran added.
