PIF aspires to manufacture 328,000 EVs annually: Governor

Yasir Al-Rumayyan, Governor of Public Investment Fund
The Public Investment Fund (PIF) aims to manufacture 328,000 electric vehicles (EVs) annually, Governor Yasir Al-Rumayyan stated.
In a speech at the Saudi Green Initiative 2022, Al-Rumayyan added that this comes through the fund's investments in EVs companies, CEER and Lucid.
According to data compiled by Argaam, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, who is also PIF Chairman, recently announced the launch of CEER Co., the first Saudi brand for EVs manufacturing in the Kingdom.
