State Street Chairman says data shows ‘persistent’ inflation

Ronald O'Hanley, Chairman and CEO of US-based State Street Corporation, stated that data shows “continued” inflation, which may abate slightly, but continue. 

 

At the opening speech of the second edition of the Financial Sector Conference (FSC), O'Hanley added that it is hard to see the risk right now of a recession amid unemployment. 

 

The US Federal Reserve has been active in dealing with these challenges over the past year, he pointed out.
