Gulf International Bank CEO says no worries about regional banking sector

Jamal Al-Kishi, CEO of Gulf International Bank (GIB), said no need to worry about the soundness of the banking sector in the region.

 

The region has strong regulators of the banking sectors, he added during a panel session at the Financial Sector Conference (FSC) today, March 15.

 

The banking industry is important for everyone, Al-Kishi stressed, noting that Saudi Arabia has a solid banking sector, which should be graduated to serve the ambitions of the region.
