Rua Al Madinah, Marriott sign agreement to operate 8 hotel brands

Rua Al Madinah Holding, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), signed today, March 19, an agreement with Marriott International to operate eight hotel brands within its Rua Al Madinah project.

Under the agreement, nearly 4,400 rooms will be operated in close proximity to the Prophet's Mosque, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The eight Marriott brands include The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Marriott Hotels, Westin Hotels & Resorts, Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, Four Points by Sheraton, Aloft Hotels, and Courtyard by Marriott.

Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Madinah Province and Chairman of the Council for Al Madinah Development, was present during the signing ceremony.
