Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al Falih

Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al Falih stated that many of the current global headwinds play to Saudi Arabia's strengths, offering foreign investors a better opportunity than many other countries.

 

During a panel at the Future Investment Initiative (FII) Summit in Riyadh, he explained that Saudi Arabia has one of the lowest costs of capital, a US dollar-pegged currency, and a long-term investment thesis that does not fluctuate from year to year.

 

He noted that foreign investors in Saudi Arabia have a range of options, from stability to long-term investment, along with local partners, developers, and strong banks offering low-interest loans to reduce capital costs.
