Trump urges immediate evacuation of Tehran

US President Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump urged residents of Tehran, the capital of Iran, to evacuate immediately, indicating a potential escalation in the Israeli-Iranian conflict.

“Iran should have signed the 'deal' I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life”, Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.

He added that Iran simply cannot have a nuclear weapon, and everyone must evacuate Tehran immediately.

This announcement follows the US State Department’s issuance of its highest-level travel advisory on June 16, warning American citizens against traveling to Israel amid escalating military tensions in the Middle East.

The State Department previously had advised Americans to reconsider traveling to Israel and the West Bank, while strongly recommending against any travel to Gaza.

Trump said that Iran was seeking a diplomatic resolution following Israeli attacks on its nuclear and military facilities but had delayed taking decisive action for too long.

He asserted that Tehran would ultimately fail in this conflict.
