HSBC expects momentum to continue in UAE capital markets

Shaikha Almarri, Head of Banking, UAE at HSBC, said the UAE’s economy offers a very constructive environment and a lot of great investment opportunities, allowing international investors to gain exposure to the UAE.
Speaking at the HSBC GCC Exchanges Conference 2025 in London, she affirmed that the bank supports its corporate and institutional clients in debt issuance and capital raising, and works closely with government entities such as the Abu Dhabi Investment Office and the D33 team to attract more foreign investment.
HSBC expects the momentum in the UAE capital markets to continue into 2025, surpassing previous activity levels, Almarri added.
