Saudi holdings of US Treasuries rise to $134.4B in October

Saudi Arabia’s holdings of US Treasuries increased by $122 million month-on-month (MoM) to $134.4 billion in October 2025, recent data released by the US Department of Treasury showed.
Meanwhile, the Kingdom maintained the 18th place among the largest holders of US Treasuries for the month.
Saudi Arabia’s holdings of US Treasuries included long-term bonds worth $106.3 billion, representing 79% of the total, as well as short-term bonds at $28 billion, accounting for 21%.
Japan was the top holder of US Treasuries by value in October, with $1.2 trillion, followed by the UK with $877.9 billion.
