Bitcoin rises; Bernstein sees $150,000 target

Bitcoin climbed 2.47% to $71,035

Cryptocurrencies rose in Wednesday trading as investors tracked developments in the Middle East conflict and comments by US President Donald Trump on potential negotiations with Iran, despite Tehran denying the claims.

Bitcoin climbed 2.47% to $71,035 as of 10:04 a.m. Makkah time, while ether rose about 2.25% to $2,165.36 and XRP gained 0.66% to $1.4188.

Bernstein said in a note published this week it maintained its $150,000 price target for bitcoin by the end of 2026, citing a shift in the market from retail-driven speculation toward exchange-traded funds and institutional demand.

The shift points to an investor base that is less sensitive to short-term price swings, helping to moderate volatility during market downturns.
