Cleveland Fed President Beth Hammack said there is no urgent need for the central bank to adjust monetary policy, though future rate cuts or even hikes remain possible.

In an interview with CNBC, Hammack said interest rates are “in a good place.”

"I think that rates are in a good place," Hammack said on CNBC. "My baseline is that we're going to remain on hold for a good while, but I do think that there's two-sided risk to rates."

She also noted the Fed could eventually shift to a more accommodative or more restrictive stance, depending on incoming economic data.
