Vision 2030: 93% of indicators achieved, 935 initiatives completed

Saudi Vision 2030 has adopted transparency as a fundamental pillar, ensuring a high level of governance that achieves accountability and regular monitoring of the vision’s indicators.

This includes setting targets in the short, medium, and long term, which helps progress toward future objectives, while allowing performance review and corrective action when necessary.

This approach also contributes to identifying and analyzing gaps, whether in citizens’ quality of life, the private sector’s business environment, or investment attraction—thereby supporting sustainability of impact and establishing an institutional framework for evaluation.

The implementation pathways of the vision are measured through the assessment of Vision Realization Programs and national strategies by tracking performance indicators designed to define the baseline, actual values, and interim and final targets, in addition to monitoring the status of initiatives with flexibility that allows performance adjustments.

This working model has helped reduce the impact of emerging challenges on the pace of development, contributing to continued progress toward achieving targets in alignment with rapid changes. This required repositioning, reassessment, and enhancing spending efficiency in line with national priorities—especially in areas that directly affect citizens and their empowerment.

Vision 2030 continues its journey of implementing its programs and plans, supported by an institutional framework and maturity reached in its 10th year, building on achievements made each year.
