Non-oil exports hit record high, factories near 13,000: Vision 2030

Industry has become a central pillar of economic diversification, with Saudi Arabia seeing rapid industrial development since the discovery of oil, which laid the foundation for a modern manufacturing base.

Under Vision 2030, the sector has taken on a more strategic role, helping lift non-oil exports to record levels while the number of factories has grown to nearly 13,000, reflecting the pace of economic transformation and industrial expansion.

Reforms to the industrial ecosystem have further unlocked growth, supported by a range of enablers that have driven a sharp increase in industrial establishments and improved access to both domestic and global markets, pushing exports to unprecedented levels.
