Cryptocurrency

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies kept flat on Tuesday as investors awaited developments in US–Iran talks aimed at ending the conflict in the Middle East, as well as the outcome of the Federal Reserve meeting, which begins later today, April 28 and concludes tomorrow (April 29).

Bitcoin held steady at $76,904 as of 10:54 a.m. Makkah time, approaching the $77,000 level, which is a key psychological threshold for the world’s largest cryptocurrency.

Ethereum also remained stable at $2,287.3, while Ripple traded at $1.3931.

Bitcoin has advanced roughly 13% so far in April and is on track to record its first monthly gain of at least 10% since May 2025.
