Cryptocurrencies rise despite weak investor appetite

Cryptocurrencies rose today, May 13, despite weak investor appetite for crypto exchange-traded funds in the US.

 

Bitcoin edged up 0.15% to $80,904 as of 10.37 am KSA time.

 

Ethereum added around 0.6% to $2,298.32, while XRP gained 1.45% to $1.46 and Dogecoin climbed 1.72% to 11.22 cents.

 

According to SoSoValue data, investors pulled a net $233 million from US-listed Bitcoin ETFs on May 12, while Ethereum ETFs recorded net outflows of $130.6 million.
