Cryptocurrency prices fell today, June 1, with Bitcoin dropping below $73,000, as negotiations for a ceasefire between the US and Iran remained stalled.

This decline occurred despite US President Donald Trump's campaign to promote the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act (CLARITY), which aims to establish clearer regulations for digital assets.

In a post on his Truth Social platform last week, Trump referred to the US as “Crypto Capital of the World”, and championed the CLARITY Act.
