Bitcoin pares losses after falling to lowest level since February

Bitcoin

Bitcoin was little changed on Wednesday after recovering most of its earlier losses, following a drop to its lowest level since February at $65,385, as investors continued to favor other asset classes over cryptocurrencies.

The pullback came as artificial intelligence-related stocks continued to fuel Wall Street's momentum, reaching fresh record highs amid hopes for an agreement that could help end the war that has rattled global financial markets.

“Bitcoin needs to hold around $65,000,” said Jonathan Krinsky, technical strategist at BTIG, told CNBC. That’s “really the last bastion of support before a test of year-to-date lows around $60,000.”
