Foreign institutions net sellers of SAR 441.1M on TASI last week

Foreign institutions on the Main Market (TASI) were net sellers of stocks worth SAR 441.1 million during the week ended June 4, the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) said in its latest weekly report.
Foreign institutions accounted for 39.95% of total buy transactions and 46.6% of total sell trades on TASI. Foreign individuals were also net sellers of shares worth SAR 4 million.
Saudi retail investors were net sellers of shares worth SAR 47.8 million, pressured mainly by individual professional investors who sold shares worth SAR 462.2 million. Meanwhile, individuals were net buyers of stocks worth SAR 321.7 million, high-net-worth investors (SAR 81.4 million), and individual DPMs (SAR 11.2 million).
Saudi corporates were net buyers of shares worth SAR 340 million, mainly driven by companies, which recorded net purchases of about SAR 406.6 million, followed by managed portfolios at SAR 14.7 million. Meanwhile, investment funds and government entities were net sellers at SAR 38.9 million and SAR 42.4 million, respectively.
