33.1% of establishments used AI in 2025: GASTAT
ICT sector led in AI adoption, GASTAT data shows
Around 33.1% of establishments used artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in carrying out their activities in 2025, the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) said, according to the 2025 survey on ICT usage by establishments.
The survey showed that the information and communications (ICT) sector led in AI adoption, with a penetration rate of 61.1%, followed by financial and insurance activities at 52.9%, and education at 51%.
