Cryptocurrencies rise, Bitcoin trades at $64,000

Cryptocurrencies

Cryptocurrency prices rose on Thursday after the Federal Reserve held interest rates steady, and as investors monitored developments surrounding the ongoing US attacks on Iran.

Investors are also awaiting the second-quarter earnings report from Strategy&, due after the close of Wall Street trading today, for further insights into the company's Bitcoin holdings.

Bitcoin is trading near $64,000, and while it is on track for a weekly loss of over 1%, it is also poised for a monthly gain of nearly 9% in July.
