US President Donald Trump told Fox News that an agreement with Iran is close, saying negotiations are progressing well.
Investors are also awaiting the release of the US nonfarm payrolls report for July on Friday. Economists expect the US economy to have added 83,000 jobs, compared with 57,000 in June.
