Cryptocurrencies surge, Bitcoin trades above $80,500

Cryptocurrency prices rose on Tuesday as market optimism returned and risk appetite improved, fueled by strong inflows into Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

 

Bitcoin is currently trading above $80,500, its highest level since mid-May, extending gains of over 20% last week.

 

However, the world's largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization remains well below its peak of $126,000 in October.
