Saudi retail investors net sellers of SAR 1.4B TASI stocks last week

Saudi retail investors were net sellers of nearly SAR 1.39 billion worth of stocks on the Main Market (TASI) in the week ended Aug. 27, according to the latest data issued by Tadawul.
Net sells included SAR 919.8 million by high-net-worth investors, SAR 556.7 million by retail investors, and SAR 72.3 million by individual professional investors, while managed individual DPMs recorded net buys of SAR 162 million.
Meanwhile, Saudi institutions were net buyers of about SAR 1.39 billion, supported by net buys of SAR 821.5 million by Saudi corporates and SAR 582.4 million by mutual funds, while managed institutional DPMs and government entities recorded net sells of SAR 7.8 million and SAR 1.7 million, respectively.
Foreign institutions were net sellers of approximately SAR 44.7 million, representing 30.70% of total buys compared to 30.86% of total sells.
