Foreign institutions net sellers of SAR 961.5M on TASI in August

Foreign institutions were net sellers of SAR 961.5 million worth of TASI-listed stocks in August, according to recent data issued by Tadawul.
Total buy transactions reached SAR 40.27 billion, compared to sell trades of SAR 41.23 billion, according to Tadawul's monthly report on ownership value and trading value.
They accounted for 35.81% of total buy transactions in TASI, compared to 36.67% of total sell trades.
Meanwhile, foreign individual investors were net buyers of shares worth around SAR 100.09 million.
Saudi individuals were net sellers of shares worth SAR 2.72 billion.
Saudi institutions were net buyers of shares worth SAR 3.48 billion. Corporates were net buyers of shares worth SAR 2.94 billion, followed by investment funds (SAR 525.35 million) and Government entities (SAR 109.3 million). Managed portfolios were net sellers of shares worth SAR 90.96 million.
