Cryptocurrencies rise, Bitcoin nears $82,000

Bitcoin Currency

Cryptocurrencies rose during today’s, Sept. 21, trading session after US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) attracted $593 million over Thursday and Friday, reversing previous outflows.

Sentiment improved after a volatile week for crypto assets, which saw a key US cryptocurrency bill stall, alongside the Federal Reserve’s first interest-rate hike in more than three years.

Bitcoin rose about 1% during the session to trade near $82,000, trimming its year-to-date gains to around 6.5%.
