Bitcoin dips lower after monthly, quarterly gains

Bitcoin Currency

Cryptocurrency prices varied in today’s trading session, Oct. 1, after US inflation data lowered expectations of a Federal Reserve rate hike at its upcoming meeting.

Bitcoin traded above $83,000 after gaining around 42.7% in Q3 2026, following a 6.33% increase in September.

Traders will watch the US jobs report due on Oct. 2 for further clues on the Federal Reserve’s interest-rate outlook.
