Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) said all necessary measures have been taken to ban imports of “plastic” rice to the Saudi local markets, according to SFDA’s official account on Twitter.

 

SFDA will also conduct thorough inspection at the entry points of borders, in addition to lab tests to ensure rice imports comply with the applied standards and health specifications.
