City Cement Co.’s board on Monday approved the temporary stoppage of a clinker line due to its high clinker inventory and weak demand due to the current market conditions. 

 

The suspension will not impact the company’s ability to fulfill client commitments, the cement producer said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

City Cement added that it will announce the related financial impact, if any, by the end of Q4 2017.
