Middle East Paper Co.’s (MEPCO) chief executive officer, Sami Safran, has been recognized as one of the Arab World’s top 100 CEOs at the Arab Best Awards, held in Morocco on Nov 27.

 

The top 100 list is based on a grading system that considered key criteria including management and organization, CSR and societal services, along with innovation and learning, among other metrics, the company said in a statement.

 

“MEPCO has become the region’s leading vertically integrated paper manufacturer, and our commitment to environmentally and socially sustainable production practices has been an essential part of that journey,” Safran said.
