The Saudi Capital Market Authority (CMA) and Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers (Taqeem) have approved the international valuation standards for REIT real estate units, Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.

 

We have adopted the international standards applicable to REITs, and approved valuers will have to issue their valuations of REITs’ real estate units accordingly, the newspaper quoted Taqeem’s Deputy Secretary General, Sultan Al Jorias, as saying.
